Dillehay Street Not-A-Show

A small gathering put together by a couple of very generous, well known local car guys. The first event in many years, it was well received. And since my shop is right there in middle of it, I stuck my 63’s nose out to attract attention. 😎

Dave's Amateur Hour Garage: the cars

Our setlist -
  1. 1963 Plymouth Savoy mordor. One owner Kentucky car bought new in November 1962 in Grayson. Have paperwork and build sheet. Nice original interior. Body's been beat to snot. Was too nice to part out. I bought one back in '77 and learned to drive with it (3onthetree).

  2. 1963 Plymouth Savoy wagon. I had one of these back in high school too. This one was found in Arkansas. Has a Missouri Pacific Railroad police decal on the rear window. A high mileage car that was parked in the mid 70s after the motor failed. Was never vandalized, 99.9% complete (gas cap is missing). Needs floors, cowl work, window and door mechanisms replaced, tailgate hinges replaced. Have all the parts. Will get a drive train swap as well.
I also have a low mileage '63 Fury mordor parts car that came from Tennessee with a nice clean Polyhead 318 in it. The fenders have gone on my Savoy mordor while the rest of the parts and k-member will go on the wagon.
